Interview Requests

Reporters wishing to interview University leaders, staff, faculty, students or alumni can contact a representative of University of Phoenix through the media hotline at 602.254.0086 or by sending an email to media@phoenix.edu.

We ask that reporters provide questions and the precise subject matter and nature of their story when calling for an interview or to obtain information about the University.

We realize that story deadlines are often tight and we will do our best to accommodate these deadlines. For urgent requests, voicemails left at 602.254.0086 can help expedite response time.

Campus Access

Members of the media may not photograph, record or interview faculty, employees, alumni or students at a University of Phoenix Campus or learning center without the advanced permission and assistance of the University.

Please contact our designated media representatives through the media hotline or media@phoenix.edu at least 48 hours in advance to coordinate on-campus filming.

Media Resources

Images, logos, videos, expert bios and University data are available to help media share news and information about the University. Visit the media resources database for a complete collection of available content acceptable for media use. Content specific to published articles can be found in the media resources section at the bottom of individual article pages on UOPX News.

Subject Matter Expert Database

University of Phoenix employees, faculty, alumni and advisory council members serve as subject matter experts in their respective fields and are available to provide thought leadership in the areas of higher education, healthcare, technology, business and more. If you’re interested in scheduling an interview with a UOPX spokesperson, please contact us through the media hotline or email media@phoenix.edu.

Academic Annual Report

Each year, the University produces its Academic Annual Report (AAR) to provide highlights of educational quality and academic success. Campus Amenities and Resources

Facilities and services at the University’s Campuses and learning center locations are available to the media and public upon request. Please contact our designated media representatives through the media hotline or media@phoenix.edu at least 48 hours in advance to coordinate on-campus filming. See below for available resources:

Audio and video recording

The University’s Phoenix Campus offers members of the media access to a state-of-the-art video recording studio, equipped with customizable set pieces and green screen for remote TV interviews. The Campus is also equipped with an audio recording studio for podcasts, radio interviews and other audio recordings.

Veteran Resource Center

In an effort to provide a supportive and collaborative environment for all students and alumni affiliated with the military, we’ve opened Veteran Resource Centers (VRC) at five key campuses across the country. VRCs serve as a place for military-affiliated students and alumni to connect with their peers and access resources specifically geared toward their unique needs, including connections with our alliance partners Give an Hour and American Corporate Partners. Public Records Request

Legally permitted requests for information about the University, including, but not limited to, campus safety information, transcripts, police reports and other records requests are available to the public. To file a request, please contact the media hotline or email media@phoenix.edu.
